Let your kids get in touch with their roots this December school holiday. In this fun and engaging workshop, kids will learn how to count, greet family members, and self-introduce in Teochew. On top of that, they will create a DIY Teochew colouring book of everyday objects.
Participants will receive a Teochew fridge magnet and Teochew pin worth a total of $25.00. Dialect pictorial book is not included in this workshop.

Kuan Eng is the author of Singapore’s first series of dialect pictorial books. He is passionate about getting Singaporeans to get in touch with their linguistic heritage. He still speaks dialect at home with his Hokkien father and Teochew mother, making him proficient in both dialects. With 11 dialect books under his belt, he has conducted talks and workshops at The Arts House, National Museum of Singapore and The Esplanade.
This workshop is suitable for children between 6 and 12 years old.
