Adenium obesum is a species of flowering plant in the dogbane family, Apocynaceae, which is an evergreen or drought-deciduous succulent shrub. It can grow up to 1-3 meters in height and usually have red and pink, often with a whitish blush outward of the throat.

Prefers full exposure to sunlight and can tolerate high humidity.
Water
Prefers moderately moist soil. Can be watered as often as possible during the growing stage but make sure the soil has a proper drainage to avoid too wet soil.

It does not need phosphorus to bloom nor need high nitrogen to flower.
