Philodendronspecies is of a large number. Many are grown as ornamental and indoor plants. The name derives from the Greek words philo- or "love, affection" and Dendron or "tree". They are commonly called by their generic name.

Comment:

Philodendron goeldii,a rare Philodendron with their green long fingered leaves will eventually grow arranged in an open, circular form which really makes this it a masterpiece. A good climber or showy as a large shrub.

Exposure
Indoor plants thrive at temperatures between 15 and 18 °C and can survive at lower light levels than other house plants.

Although philodendrons can survive in dark places, they much prefer bright lights.

Love humidity n may mist them 2-3 weekly. 

Water
Keep the growing medium moist at all times. Push aerial roots into the soil on climbing varieties. Avoid overwatering or plant would get root rot. 

Soil
Like rich, loose potting media that will drain well but is still high in organic matter.

May grow in 100 percent sphagnum peat moss.

Fertilizer
Will produce larger leaves & healthier when fertilize them regularly. Use slow-release pellets or weekly liquid fertilizer.

 REASONS YOURPHILODENDRON MAY NOT BE DOING WELL:
Stress and Disease.

Common disease- Erwinia Blight. Pseudomonas Leaf Spot.

Xanthomonas Leaf Spot and Tipburn. Red-edge leaf spot bacteria.
