Ziziphus mauritiana jujube plant is a spiny, evergreen shrub or fast-growing small tree. The fruits of the Indian Jujube however are not so sweet as cultivated and grafted varieties. These plants grow to be about 2 ft tall with an elliptical shape to its leaves. It is sprouted from seed or grafted for a more consistent output!
