Ceramication with Rayn

Ceramication is a Singapore-based boutique porcelain maker founded by Rayn on 9 August 2020. From the moulds to forms, clay bodies to glazes and processes, everything is laboriously designed by him. Handcrafted in Singapore using only the finest minerals sourced from around the world, every individual piece passes through the hands of the artist numerous times, giving them the unique signature of handmade studio ceramics. 

Rayn has been conducting ceramic workshops with us at Sing See Soon since he started (during the pandemic)! From regular sized pots, to itty bitty tea cup ones, his workshops are always a hoot and half (and enriching of course!) 

Rayn's craft is a wonderful blend of science, precision and whimsy. And always meticulously finished, and this shows in how his workshops are conducted. From our humble space here in Simei, to Asian Civilisation Museum and curated shelves of Crate & Barrel – Rayn brings new life to the traditions of ceramics.
