Neem is a fast-growing tree that can reach a height of 20 metres. It is noted for its drought resistance and normally thrives in areas with sub-arid to sub-humid conditions. It is a known source of medicinal properties that produces the neem oil that helps improve liver function, detoxify the blood and balance blood sugar levels. Its leaves are also use to treat skin diseases like eczema and psoriasis.
